Roger and Nancy moved from New Hampshire to Sarasota, Florida in 2001. Although he may not admit it, having the ability to play golf year round was most likely a major contributing factor in that decision. It was here on the gulf coast that Roger, and his wife Nancy, both changed careers to real estate and hit the ground running as "The Grenier Group". Brand new to the business, they quickly became monthly "Top Guns" in the office and moved up the charts within Coldwell Banker as members of the "International Diamond Society", the top 5% of agents nationwide, all in the first three years in the business.

Roger received his MBA from the University of Maryland, and before his career change held accounting positions at Computer Operations, Freddie Mac, and Accounting Director for HUD in Washington D.C. Roger is a former Marine and is the Chair of the Sarasota/Bradenton chapter of the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. He is also President of the St. Thomas Moore Mens Club and is former President of the Longboat Key Republicans Club.
